  1. Their have always been stories of the Bermuda Triangle.. Some believe in the myth, others do not. One story takes place on this day in 1945 at 2:10 when 5 Navy bombers took off from the Ft. Lauderdale Naval Air Station in Florida on a routine three-hour training mission. They never came back. The pilots all experienced similar abnormalities on their planes such as the compasses not working & their positions were unknown. Radio’s on land attempted to contact the squadron but were unsuccessful.

  2. The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is an area of the Atlantic Ocean that stretches from the southern U.S coast across to Bermuda and down to the Atlantic coast of Cuba and Santo Domingo. It is a place where dozens of ships, planes, and people have disappeared without any remains. On Dec 5, 1945 at 2:10pm, Flight 19 took off and was originally scheduled to make a three-hour training mission where they would return to their naval base lastly. However, they never did and ended up lost because the compass of the squadron's leader failed and their position was unknown. I honestly do not know what could have caused no remains of Flight 19 and the 13 men on the Mariner but it is possible that it could've been the storm occurring during the time.

  3. The Bermuda Triangle (The Devil’s Triangle) is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean where a number of aircraft and surface vessels reportedly disappeared without anyone knowing why. The earliest allegation of unusual disappearances in the Bermuda area appeared in a September 16, 1950 Associated Press article by Edward Van Winkle Jones. A short article by George X. Sand covering the loss of several planes and ships, including the loss of Flight 19, a group of five U.S. Navy TBM Avenger bombers on a training mission was the first to lay out the now-familiar triangular area where the losses took place. The original mission of the squadron was to train for and improve upon amphibious ship-to-shore tactics. I think the Bermuda Triangle theory is very weird. It’s very hard for me to believe in something I don’t have proof on.

  4. The Bermuda Triangle is an area in the Atlantic ocean that stretches from approximately Fort Lauderdale to Bermuda to Puerto Rico. The original squadron's mission was to train both naval and marine pilots and enlisted members (machine gunners, radio men,etc.). Out of that naval air station flew the famous "Flight 19" which was a training mission that went wrong. During the flight the pilots lost their position and reported their compasses were malfunctioning. In the end Flight 19 never returned back to the air station. There is currently a monument present in memory of the lives lost in Flight 19. I believe that the stories are true but not because of some curse or something like that. For example during that time aviation technology was very primitive so it is likely that the pilots may have been caught in some type of weather and crashed due to a stall or other aerodynamic event.

  5. The Bermuda Triangle is an area of the Atlantic Ocean where ships and aircraft are said to disappear without a trace. The original mission of the squadron was to come From the Ft. Lauderdale Naval Air Station in Florida and go on a routine three-hour training mission. In my opinion I feel that the Bermuda Triangle is just a myth. There is reason for all of those things that happened. Not ever thing in the world we know about. There are all kinds of secrets that we don't know. I believe that maybe the ships were lost and never found. Though I don't believe that it was due to the Bermuda Triangle and that is my opinon on the Bermuda Triangle.

Despite what everyone says,  I would one day like to go to  Bermuda on a cruise, I hear it's beautiful there.

  7. The Bermuda Triangle is also called the Devil's Triangle, is an imaginary area located near the southeastern Atlantic coast of the United States of America. The Bermuda Triangle is supposedly known unexplained disappearances of ships and aircrafts. To agree or disagree that if The Bermuda Triangle story is real or not, you would probably have to go there and find out for yourself, but to me I am in between because I have heard stories that the Triangle has unexplained disappearances of whatever passes and also you don’t know if it is true or not.

  8. The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is an area of the Atlantic Ocean. Many have reported that naval air crafts have gone on their routine 3 hour flights and have gotten lost because their compasses fail when they fly over the Bermuda Triangle. I think the Bermuda Triangle is a myth because to me i think its just stories that the government make up because they are doing some crazy stuff in that area of the Atlantic Ocean.

  9. The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the "Devil's Triangle", is an area located in the Atlantic Ocean that stretches from Fort Lauderdale, Fl to Puerto Rico, and Bermuda forming a perfect triangle. The original mission of the squadron was for the 14 soldiers to take a routine three-hour training mission on air flying. During their mission they began to face trouble with their compass. Finding out that their back-up compass has also failed. Due to that their location was unknown. I can’t really say if I believe in it or not. All I can say is that there are reasons why these things are happening. Because there are many things out there in the world that majority of us on the planet do not know of them.

  11. The "Bermuda Triangle" or "Devil's Triangle" is an imaginary area located off the southeastern Atlantic coast of the United States of America, which is noted for a supposedly high incidence of unexplained disappearances of ships and aircraft. The apexes of the triangle are generally believed to be Bermuda; Miami, Florida; and San Juan, Puerto Rico. The US Board of Geographic Names does not recognize the Bermuda Triangle as an official name. The US Navy does not believe the Bermuda Triangle exists. It is reported that Lloyd's of London, the world's leading market for specialist insurance, does not charge higher premiums for vessels transiting this heavily traveled area. My opinion on the Bermuda Triangle is that it can be scientifically explained and has no real correlation with any paranormal activity. The stories are true but the cause like I said ca be scientifically explained. It has be proven that methane bubbles escape through crevasse in the ocean floor and travel up into the atmosphere and cause a high percentage of methane in the air, in the Bermuda Triangle area. This high amount of methane could starve an engine turbine of oxygen and in turn, cause the engine to stall and fail.

  12. The Bermuda Triangle or The Devil's Triangle is said to stretch from the southern U.S. coast across to Bermuda and down to the Atlantic coast of Cuba and Santo Domingo and is also said to be the place where ships and aircrafts have disappeared without a trace of evidence. The first victims was Flight 19 who was going on a routine three-hour training mission but never came back. The squadron leader reported that both of their compasses broke two-hours after the flight began. The Mariner was the first team to go looking for them but they to never came back. The disappearance of the 14 men of Flight 19 and the 13 men of the Mariner led to one of the largest air and seas searches, and hundreds of ships and aircraft combed thousands of square miles of the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, and remote locations within the interior of Florida. No trace of the bodies or aircraft was ever found. I do not know what to think of the Bermuda Triangle but I do believe the story.

  14. Reading the following article on the Bermuda Triangle has opened my eyes to new myths. The Devils Triangle another name given to the Bermuda Triangle is said to be located in an area of the Atlantic Ocean. Its said to be an area where ships and aircraft disappear with no trace of them. The original plan of the squadron was to take them 120 miles east then north 73 miles and then back over a 120 mile leg to return to base. Article has it said that the mean never returned to base. I can't give you a specific or detailed opinion on the Bermuda Triangle because I have never heard of it or its myths. What i can tell you for sure is that the men did go missing and were never found nor the ship or aircraft. I can tell you this as fact that the stories are there, but its something we accept or don't. Does the Bermuda Triangle really exist? One may never know...

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is an area of the Atlantic Ocean that stretches from the southern U.S coast across to Bermuda and down to the Atlantic coast of Cuba and Santo Domingo. Flight 19 was scheduled to take 5 U.S. Navy Avenger torpedo bombers on a routine three-hour training mission. Two hours after the flight began, the leader of the squadron, who had been flying in the area for more than six months, reported that his compass and back-up compass had failed and that his position was unknown. After two more hours of confused messages from the fliers, a distorted radio transmission from the squadron leader was heard at 6:20 p.m. The disappearance of the 14 men of Flight 19 and the 13 men of the Mariner led to one of the largest air and seas searches to that date, and hundreds of ships and aircraft combed thousands of square miles of the Atlantic Ocean. No traces of the bodies were ever found.

  16. The Bermuda Triangle is a section of the North Atlantic Ocean off North America in which more than 50 ships and 20 airplanes are said to have mysteriously disappeared. Its boundaries are often disputed but most agree that its the tip of Key West, the island of Bermuda, and the Greater Antilles. The original aircraft squadron was a group of 5 planes that flew from the Ft. Lauderdale Naval Air Station and was suppose to fly 120 miles east, then 73 miles north and back to the Naval Base, but they never returned. Some people say that Flight 19 got lost, ran out of gas, and fell into the Atlantic Ocean, but nobody will ever know for sure. In my opinion I don't believe that people get abducted by aliens in the Bermuda Triangle or anything like that, I believe that they just get lost, run out of fuel and disappear into the oceanbecause that is a more realistic scenario.

  17. Most people are scared to travel to the Bermuda Triangle because of the stories or myths they hear. The Bermuda Triangle is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean where a number of aircraft and surface vessels disappeared. The Bermuda Triangle is also known as the Devil’s Triangle. The squadron was on a training mission. I personally don’t believe in curses or myths but I do think they’re interesting to hear about. I don’t believe that everyone that travels to The Bermuda Triangle is going to disappear but I personally wouldn’t take a chance. I think that the two flights disappeared due to weather problems. The plane most likely crashed and the weather probably interfered with any evidence.

  18. The Bermuda Triangle, located in the Atlantic Ocean, starting from the U.S. southern coasts, all the way down to the islands of Cuba and Santo Domingo. It's nickname of "The Devil's Triangle" became because there's been a minimum of about 50 ships and aircrafts, to disappear randomly out of no where. The earliest acts of disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle occurred on September 16, 1950. An aircraft squadron consisted of about 5 planes, and once they departed, they never landed or came back. Some of these stories in my opinion could be real, but we could never know since there's is supposedly no one of survival to explain what has happened.

The Bermuda Triangle is also referred to as the Devil's Triangle due to the fact that about 50 ships and aircrafts seemed to have randomly disappeared there. the last time something disappeared there, was September 16, 1950. An aircraft squadron that consisted of 5 planes never appeared or landed. This aircraft squadron was named Flight 19, a group of five U.S. Navy TBM Avenger bombers on a training mission. In my opinion, i think the stories could possibly be real but since there is no real evidence then i suppose the mystery continues.

  20. The Bermuda Triangle known as The Devil’s Triangle is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean where many aircraft and surface vessels have been reportedly missing without anyone knowing why they have been missing. The first hearings about missing aircrafts in the Bermuda triangle appeared in September 1950 which was turned into an article by Edward Van Winkle Jones. The original mission of the squadron was to train for and improve upon amphibious ship-to-shore tactics. I think the Bermuda Triangle stories are very weird because for something to just disappear without knowing whatever happened to it is weird and the day these missing aircrafts ever come back from the triangle that’s the day history will change its course. It’s very hard for me to believe in something that no one or I have any proof of any of the disappearing’s.

  22. The three-sided segment of the Atlantic Ocean bordered by Bermuda, Puerto Rico and Miami, Florida, didn’t receive its most famous nickname until 1964, when reports of bizarre happenings began occurring, where numerous ships and planes simply vanished without a trace within the imaginary triangle.
The Bermuda Triangle legend really began on December 5, 1945, with the disappearance of Flight 19. Five Navy Avenger bombers mysteriously vanished while on a routine training mission, as did a rescue plane sent to search for them; six aircraft and 27 men, were gone without a trace. All of the crewmen of the five Avengers were inexperienced trainees, except their leader, Lt. Charles Taylor. Later, investigations concluded that it was pilot’s error. In my opinion the Triangle is just a name given for difficult atmospheric weather conditions that can spell disaster for pilots and mariners. Legends were written throughout the years, but in my opinion these were theories attempting to explain the many disappearances which have been offered throughout the history of the area. The most practical seem to be environmental and those citing human error. I do not believe these stories because they were actually trying to explain the unexplainable back then.

  23. For years, many planes and ships have disappeared in the area of the Bermuda Triangle. The Bermuda Triangle is an unsolved mystery that leaves many people oblivious as to how it has taken away the lives of countless amounts of humans. The triangle is an area of the world located to the Southeast of the United States and it is also referred to as the "Devil's Triangle." The triangle is formed by drawing imaginary lines from Melbourne, Florida, to Bermuda, to Puerto Rico, and back to Melbourne. The mystery of the triangle began in 1945, when a Navy Aircraft pilot left their Florida base on a routine training mission and was never seen again. This mystery, in fact, has eliminated hundreds of vessels from commercial airplanes carrying hundreds of innocent people to navy submarines going on a test-drive. This incident arose lots of suspicion about the Triangle. People started to retell the story and stretch the truth in their own manner. The Bermuda Triangle has caused people to either fear the area, or to reject its legitimacy as a true mystery. But lately, the triangle hasn’t taken anyone’s life, so people feel more secure about it. But who knows? The Triangle could strike again, even today. There never have been any discovered wreckage when a plane, boat, or submarine was reported missing.

  24. A place full of mysterious events, supernatural events, or just plain unlucky tragic coincidences is a pretty good description of what the Bermuda Triangle actually is. On a training mission 3 aircraft carriers were lost at sea there never to be found again then their search party was lost and never to be seen again, sadly it was all just a regular old training mission, unlucky them. To me the triangle symbolizes all the bad luck anyone can ever find in one place nothing more nothing less, I'm not saying that I don't believe in the supernatural what I'm saying is that most of what happens there is just unlucky coincidences. The tanker explosion for instance could have been just a gas leak and then someone started smoking and boom. So to me it can be supernatural and it can't. I don't know for sure and personally I don't want to find out.

I think that the aircraft incidents were both coincidences. I don’t believe that a random area in the ocean is haunted, especially if there isn’t a legend or anything to back up the possibility of it being haunted.

Two hours after the flight began, the leader of the squadron, who had been flying in the area for more than six months, reported that his compass and back-up compass had failed and that his position was unknown. It's possible that the Bermuda Triangle has something to do with the aircraft malfunctioning. You hear stories about airplanes that stop working when flying over the area, a lot of evidence points that being in that the area is dangerous.

  31. The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean. Many aircraft and surface vessels have disappeared mysteriously. It is documented that some of these disappearances were embellished by latter authors. The squadron was scheduled to go on a three hour training mission and would then go back to their naval base. They did not return. One reason was because the leader's compass and back-up compass broke.
If people continuously go to the Bermuda Triangle and the same things keep happening, why keep going? I believe that something could be lingering in that territory from a very long time ago.The stories could be true and they could be exaggerated a little.

Somebody should definitely look in on that though. Find out why people can’t communicate when they go in that area. Find out where the missing people in the past went.
