Please read the article on Mitt Romney leading the polls for the Florida primary. Then, answer the following questions in an essay format. Please write at least 100 words. Do you think Romney will still win the Florida primary on Tuesday? Will Mitt Romney be a good presidential candidate? Why or Why not? Who is your favorite candidate to run for the presidency with the republican party? Why?

Mitt Romney will win come Tuesday's Florida primary. The public polls says it all, Romney has a double-digit lead over Newt Gingrich. He's already up in Florida by alot and nobody will be able to catch up to a double-digit lead that quick. I think he'll be a good presidential candidate I think all of the runners will be, who am I to say they wouldn't. I like Mitt because he is for the people, he feels you shouldn't be elected because of your faith nor rejectes because of your faith. He says he'll only serve the common cause of the people of the United States. I feel him on that! It was ya' boy Ron Paul, but he's a loser right now. But now im liking what I see out of Mitt

Yes on tuesday when Mitt Romney comes to Florida, alot of people would vote for him because of his believes. I believe that Mitt Romney will be a good presidential candidate for the republican against Obama and remeber he was a senate for Massechusetts and plus he's a buissnes man that know like alot about money, taxes, and with wall street. My favorite candidate to win this huge election is acourse Mitt Romney and I believe that he will be doing a very great job if he was president of the United States. but right after when Obama gave that speech I think now he's gonna have his population go up to atleast around 40% to 50%.

I do think that Mitt Romney will win the primary election in Florida. From what I am reading about the polls he is in the lead. I think that he is a good candidate. Everyone votes for him so he has to be good. I think he would be a good presidential candidate but I think the President Barack Obama is a better one. I don’t pay attention to him speak so I don’t know, but I think that Obama should be re-elected. I don’t have a favorite candidates 1st because I’m not a republican and 2nd I don’t pay attention to the race.
Yes, I think Mitt Romney can win this election, it certainly is heading that way. Majority of republicans nationwide see Romney as an acceptable GOP nominee for president. I guess he will be a good presidential candidate. Why, because Romney's attacks on Obama are far better, more targeted and more effective. Making this election about Obama is the only possibility for a Republican candidate to win. Honestly, I haven't really been watching the debates much so I can't say I have a favorite. Romney seems like a good choice because of the changes he wants to make.

ReplyDeleteI did this blog after the candidate vote yesterday. I had heard a lot of talk that he would lead the polls in the Florida primaries and they were correct. I don’t really follow politics but I don’t see why he wouldn’t be a good candidate for the presidency. My favorite republican candidate is Rick Santorum because of hi beliefs. He is a Christian and does not believe in abortion. He did drop out of the race for a little because of the illness of his daughter but came back once she was home safe. I like that about him because he put his family first, which to me is the most important thing.
Yes I do think that Mitt Romney will win the election on Tuesday. I really don't follow politics or pay attention to it but I really don't see why he wouldn't be a good candidate for presidency. Like I said before I really don't pay attention to politics and I really don't have a favorite candidate but I think Mitt Romney is a good guy and I think I'll go with him. People nationwide see Mitt Romney as a good and acceptable GOP nominee. What I like about him is that he is against abortion. That's definitely a plus for me. Overall this is what I think about Mitt Romney and what I like about him.

ReplyDeleteI do believe that Romney will win the Florida primary. I think that he will be a good presidential candidate because he understands how to organize plans. This is how he will probably win Florida’s vote in the primary. Ron Paul is my favorite candidate who is running for the position of presidency in the Republican Party. My reason being because he wants to get rid of income tax, he asserted that Congress has no control to enforce a direct income tax on people. An income tax suggests that the government possesses the lives and labor of the citizens they are supposed to be representing.
Yes I do believe Mitt Rommey will win for Florida. He is the one leading in elecions. He has proved a point to many people who are residents of Florida. I don't have any other republican in mind that i would rather win this a election. Im not a big fan of all of this.
ReplyDeleteRomney ended up winning the Florida primary on Tuesday and I'm actually really happy that he did. I personally like him out of all the republican candidates although I haven't paid as much attention to the elections as I should. From what I know, I think Romney would make a great president and probably make better decisions than Obama has. that man talks too much. and I think Romney would finally give American what we've been wanting this whole time. Romney seems like a man of his word, unlike Obama, and therefore I like him the most.
ReplyDeleteI’m more than sure Mitt Romney will win the primaries especially here in Florida where almost everyone is republican. His double digit lead shows clearly that he is going to win. I assume he must be the best if he’s winning by so much but he could just be winning because he is the most appealing (I can’t say if he is or isn’t because I don’t know what the other candidates are like), that happens very often in elections. People like an appealing person that can speak well to the public more than weather they will make a good president.
ReplyDeleteWell, presidential candidate Mitt Romney indeed did win the primary on Tuesday. Coming from the article, Romney had 42% votes who was ahead of Newt Gingrich who only had 27% votes. I believe that Romney will be a good presidential candidate because when he was the governor of Massachusetts he had his states' economy in good shape, people in Massachusetts had jobs and companies were growing, also he offered residents in Massachusetts affordable health care. Mitt Romney has had a good idea on how to make a state prosper. My favorite would be Mitt Romney, he has a lot of experience and knowledge to lead our country in a better direction.
ReplyDeleteThe outcome of the primary was that Mitt Romney indeed won. The statistics of the primary was that Romney had 46.2% of the votes in Florida. I feel that Romney will be the next candidate for the presidential election for many reasons. One of those reasons being that usually the candidate that wins the primary in the Florida election end up actually being the presidential candidate. I personally do not like Obama and so therefore I believe that Romney will be a much better president. I feel he is a good leader and can get our country back on track economy wise.

He end up wining anyways because he won by a lot. i believe that Mitt Romney would be a good presidential candidate because it not like he doesn't have any background history. He was the 70th Governor of Massachusetts from the time of 2003 to 2007 and that is long time. He cared and made a change about the health care insurance and also good to have people like him to lead because me has a lot of experience. My favorite candidate would be Romney because he made a differences in things but don't get me wrong i don't know him i don't trust people i don't know but im looking forward to what he has plan to next to make things better.
ReplyDeleteAs of late Tuesday, Mitt Romney won the Florida republican primary election by a land slide. Mitt Romney, the front runner, cruised by other republican candidates as predicted. Early Tuesday morning, Mitt Romney was leading in the polls in the double digits ahead of controversial former House speaker Newt Gingrich as Ron Paul and Rick Santorum trailed behind the two. From the beginning of the campaign season Mitt Romney was a favorite of mine due to his charisma and charm that wooed his constituents in campaign rallies. Mitt Romney will definitely be a good presidential candidate and put up a good fight against President Obama. Ultimately I believe President Obama will win this election because these four years have been spent on cleaning up a political mess left by Bush. Now he can show what he can do in the next four years.
ReplyDeleteBase on the polls it is clear that Romney will win the primary in Florida. For months the republican candidates have been campaigning in several different states. Now it is Florida’s turn. I believe that Romney will be the best candidate for the Republican Party. He has a tremendous amount of experience in business. He has started many companies and made them profitable. I think he is capable of doing an excellent job with the government budget. He is what you call a moderate republican. He was the governor of Massachusetts so he has experience in government. He also started a health care program in his state that would benefit all sorts of people.

For months the candidates have been running and he has been in the lead which I believe he is the best candidate for the republican party because he has experience and he had good ideas. He talks very well and understands what needs to be done. He is the best choice for the president position and i believe he knows what is right for the people of these United States.
ReplyDeleteSo it’s already Thursday and yes Mitt Romney won the Florida Republican primary elections. As predicated he has Florida “in the bag. But from the begging he has been my favorite republican candidate so far because of the way he portrays himself. I do believe that Romney would be a great presidential candidate. But Obama really hasn’t really been able to show us all he can do because he’s been sooooo busy trying to get things back to “normal”. I think that many will end up reelecting Obama due to the hype and because many people don’t like change they like to keep a routine and it’s a lot easier to stick to Obama then to change it up.
ReplyDeleteI did believe that Mitt Romney was going to win the Florida primary this past Tuesday and I was right. He won by a long shot leaving Gingrich way behind. I believe Mitt Romney will be a good presidential candidate, I believe if someone was going to beat Obama Mitt Romney would be the one him to do it. I believe most of the independents will vote for him. Mitt Romney is my favorite republican candidate that is running. Honesty if Mitt Romney wins or Gingrich I'd be content , as long as Obama doesn't get respected. Can not wait to see what happens, its long to be a close and interesting race

ReplyDeleteI think Mitt Romney has the credentials needed for a presidential candidate. He is a successful businessman and former governor of Massachusetts. He knows works and what it to stimulate consumer confidence which is at an all time low. Romney has already won the republican primary for Florida which is a big state with many delegates. I also think he would make a strong republican candidate because of his strong moral and ethical background; he is a devout Mormon and sound family background. One of Romney’s weaknesses is his inconsistency on certain positions such as same-sex marriage, abortion, and other conservative arguments. This only may appeal to conservative republicans which might impact his ability to win over most Americans.
According to the polls, Mitt Romney was going to be the one to win the Florida primary. He did end up winning it against Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, and Ron Paul. I personally think Romney will be a good presidential candidate. I think he has plenty of experience. Romney is a successful businessman and a respected governor of Massachusetts. I'm not really following this as much as I should be so I don’t really have a favorite candidate, but if I had to pick I would pick Mitt Romney. Not only because he's a successful businessman and governor, but because he carries himself well. I think if anyone were to be able to go up against Obama, Romney could do it. He has the experience, money, and confidence. I’m very interested in seeing what is going to happen.
ReplyDeleteWell I did this blog after Mitt Romney won by a landslide on Tuesday. I have two viewpoints on if Romney could a good president. I believe he can and cant. He can because he has experience in business and have helped assist other businesses in need, but I also believe he can’t because I don’t believe he can connect with the middle class. He can’t see things through their eyes. My favorite candidate for presidency for the republicans would have to be Ron Paul because he has great views. His ideas are great especially his views on war.

I think Mitt Romney will still win the Florida primary on Tuesday because he is a great businessman from Massachusetts and he is in the lead for now against Newt Gingrich and Santorum. The percentage of the poll was Romney 46% Gingrich 32% and Santorum 13%. Mitt Romney is a good presidential candidate because he is trying help out our country to be successful and has doubled the digits of the polls and he knows alot about money and wall street. My favorite candidate to run for the presidency with the republican party is Newt Gingrich because he is the most suitable person of the ethical of Modern Republicanism. He knows a little about politics but not that much. This is my opinion of how i think the republican election is going to go.

ReplyDeleteBefore the Florida primary I haven't really been paying any attention to the republican candidates. Mitt Romney actually ended up winning the Florida Primary on Tuesday. In all honesty I have no idea if he'll be a good candidate. All I know is that he's a successful businessman and former governor of Massachusetts. Based on that I think he'll probably be able to hang but I'm not sure if he'll be able to capture the eyes of all the citizens of America. I don't have a favorite Republican candidate because I haven't been keeping up to date with any of them.
I believe that Mitt Romney will win the Florida primary on Tuesday. In my opinion, I strongly believe that Mitt Romney is a good candidate because he has the ability to defeat President Obama in the upcoming election. My favorite candidate is Mitt Romney because out of all the GOP candidates, he has a better chance of defeating Obama and has many different policies that I believe will help this country get back on the road of prosperity. He definitely is wayyy better than Newt Gingrich for sure.

He would offer us this amazing plan on how he is going to fix the United States and then not pull it off. Also there is the fact that he is a billionaire. So I don’t think he will pass the necessary tax on the rich because it will also affect us. I didn’t watch the primary so I don’t know the other candidates which means I don’t have a favorite republican candidate..yeah, go barrack.

Based on what I’ve read, I think Romney will most likely win the primary. Whether or not Romney will be a good presidential candidate is still up for debating. No one really knows how people will handle certain situations, like actually becoming president, until they are actually in that situation first hand. To be honest, I haven’t really kept up the candidates this year, but from what I heard; this year’s Republican candidates are not really in tip-top shape.
Well even though this blog is late, we already know that Romney won the Florida Primary. Because he will be a great candidate for president for he has the best interest of the country and its people, I just hope he keeps his promise and actually do it not like the president that we have today which promises many things, and has only done like 15% of what he has promised us. My favorite candidate would Mitt Romney, the reason I explained in the early sentence. Even though he has a different religion life he brings a lot of things to the table that some of the other candidates don’t have.

I think Mitt Romney will not win the primary election because he is going against two other people who are better than him. Mitt is a good person and knows a little bit about election but not that much. Mitt Romney will be a good presidential candidate but not for the U.S. because he is not going to help our country at all but he is good at politics and topic selections. My favorite presidential candidate is Newt Grinrich because he knows a lot about politics and he can be a good presidential candidate by helping out the community and others with their needs.
